BajaRick,
I've heard that the VW diesel truck from the early 80's were strong work horses. Seems like this would be a good truck to have around the house. Why are you selling it?

VW vs Ford

Bob H.
Congratulations for being my first ever respondant on Baja Nomad. You win one icy cerveza from the best seafood place in Ensenada...c-ckteleria Mazatlan. Now, back to the truck. Truth is, I bought a brand spankin' new Ford F150 Supercab loaded to the gills, and I just don't have the need for two trucks. She's a good truck, she needs a good home.

I remember those trucks. You will not have it very long. You can drive 100 miles on a thimble full of diesel fuel!! (or a table spoon of kitchen grease)

One day a Judge wanted to charge me with taking a woman i was not married to to florida against he husband's wishes.
I said, "Judge, I wasn't going to Florida with her. I said I was going to "Tampa" with her!"........Redd Foxx, c. 1955

Went to a funeral last weekend in KC, saw a 2nd cousin 1st time in 30 plus years. She's married to an OB/GYN living in Tampa. He delivered a great grandson to Arturo Fuente who (the co.) to this day sends him a box of their finest each month, and he doesn't even smoke them!! gives them away on the golf course!!!
