Lost FM3

Driving home to BCS this week and I've lost my FM3. I'm so bummed. Fortunately I scanned it into my laptop so I have an excellent printed copy.

Anyone have any experience with anything so foolish? I still have my passport, thank heavens.

I'm considering just going for it and reporting the loss to the immigration office in Cabo when I get home. If I need to show papers at Guerro Negro I'll use the copy and express extreme chagrin. A friend said I should say it was stolen to gain use of the sympathy card.

Any suggestions or experience???:(

No biggie but...

They're gonna make you pay for a replacement. Several years ago they made me replace mine because it was beat up. I think I paid 3-400 pesos. Can't remember.

Thanks Dave. I figured that somewhere a cash register might ring as a result of all this.

Back on the road home tomorrow. Home by Thursday. Can't wait.
