rain on my brain

getting a good steady light rain here. it's been wet for a few hours now.... long range looks like more rain coming.... hopefully it will translate to a wet winter, we need the water.... and it will bode well for the spring bloom....

let's hear some reports from down south....

Yea,
Haven't seen rain for a while---steady here in Imperial Beach---can't wait to hear about all the fender benders that happen with the first rain.

In Santa Maria CA the drizzle made a pattern of little glassy dots on windshields. My daughter calls that rain and her husband broke out an umbrella.

When little spatterings like that fell on us where I grew up, north of Seattle, we said, "Thank heavens, it's finally cleared up!"

That storm is hitting Texas now--2 inches of rain in an hour, lots of thunder/lightning--strengthened a bit, eh?
