October 20 & 21: La Casa Vieja First Annual Festival of the Arts

From noon-6 p.m., celebrate the creative spirit within all of us! Festivalgoers are invited to explore their innate creativity and interact with local practicing artists who will demonstrate and share their knowledge of painting, sculpture, ceramics, stained glass, singing, poetry, modern dance and more at La Casa Vieja Gallery & Wine Bar, located between Casa de Piedra winery and Restaurant Mustafa in San Antonio de las Minas at Km. 93.5 Carr. Tecate-Ensenada (“Ruta del Vino”). Among the participating artists and musicians are painters Adalberto Perez Meillon and Sue McDevitt; sculptors Enrique Avilez, Alfonso Arambula and Martina; ceramicist Cecilia Bitterlin; jewelry designer Cristina Rendon; poet Liz Duran; drummer Tomas Esparza; Mexican folk musicians Grupo Tregua; and more.
