We do too. Looks greasy and grimy but we like their carnitas.
Our resident expert on carnitas seems to be Hook. I'm sure he'll be able to give you the lowdown on primo carnitas after he works his way to this
thread.

Someone please tell me exactly what is a carnita. I'm not sure if Ive had one.
Bent-Rim, we had thanksgiving dinner a couple of years ago at Serinidad and none of our group got enough to eat and there was no more. They overbooked
and the price was high. Have not been back.

Carnitas is deep fried pork...or at least pork
The best here in Los Cabos and I believe that there is one in La Paz, is Michoacan. Two in San Jose and two in San Lucas. Hand made tortillas, great
salsas, yummy chicarones and killer frijoles charro.

This place was just too greasy for my tastes. The chicken rocks, however. Salsa bar, too.
I like Flor de Michoacan's stuff too.

He is not too hard to find as there is always a crowd at his stand, if I remember right his is not too far so. from the Pemex that is on the east side
of the road. He is on the west side. I have eaten there many times, it's one of the good old places where you eat some tacos, order some more eat and
repeat, then pay at the end.

This place is very good...................solo tacos and kilos......

Unfortunately - The restaraunt expansion took them out!
Further east on the way to La Paz past the airport and the dove at the first major intersection near the car dealerships is a "Carnitas al vapor"stand
only open for lunch. This place is very popular. I do not know the name but there is a big sign- "quiere dos tortillas solicita"

Is this the large brick building that is right where the toll road and free road begin moving in separate directions just north of Rosarito? If so, I
remember some of my hard core bicycle friends always raving about that place when they would go down for the Rosarito-Ensenada race. They knew
carnitas. One of them owned a mexican restaurant in the US.
