Heavy Cross to Bear

Our amigo Jose couldn't wait to show me the necklace he made as he knows I have an appreciation for jewellery made out of natural things. THIS sure is a heavy cross, it's made of laja rock and Jose told me "como es el pecado...es el castigo" loosely translated means the punishment reflects the sin...bigger the sin, bigger the punishment or cross he has to bear. Hilarious guy and my all time favorite character in town...he has the little Tecate deposito beside the gas pump and definately worth visiting...always a hoot.

Jose could be in the Guiness Book of Records for the biggest cross to bear!
