"Warm Jackets for Cold Kids"

To all Posters and Travelers going south of Loreto and on to Points beyond.
Once again We are in need of anyone who can deliver a Suitcase full of Jackets to the General Hospital in Cuidad Constrution.
All you have to do is come close to Dos Palos, Calif, on Hwy 5 or Hyw 99,call me and I will meet you with a Suitcase full of Clothing for the Very Poor.there are several Amigos who have done so in the Past.
I visited with Dr. Rene Hibif, the Director , on my trip South to La Paz who informed me there is a greater need at the other two Hospitals .
u2u,email,tele 209 3921484 anytime.

Thank you all!

Donations

And for those of you passing by Rosarito rather than Dos Palos, things can be dropped off there for delivery to many needy folks in the hills as well.
Maybe a little more convenient and there is also a school in Maneadero right on the Carretera who is very involved with assisting the needy in Baja.
And thanks again everyone who continues to help these people.

Just wondering

I am heading to Gonzaga bay in early June and would like to bring as many of the items below that I can. Please let me know what you think would be best so I can get rolling on collecting donations or would I be better off focusing on first aid supplies or clothing. I also need a contact or place to drop off the supplies somwhere on the way to gonzaga.

Newborn Kit
? 1 double receiving blanket (see receiving blanket guidelines below)
? 4 cloth diapers (do not include disposable diapers)
? 4 diaper safety pins
? 1 pair booties or baby socks
? 2 regular-size bars of soap (Ivory? or other non-allergenic brand)
? 1 newborn layette gown (not footed sleeper)

Pabalo: I am not sure as to the needs of the people in that area.I collect jackets as it gets Cold in Constitution; I would suggest Levis for the kids and Adults. The problem in the past was getting a large amount of clothes across at one time.
Suticases work fine!
I have found that most Mexicanos that I know have their own "First Aid" using Tea, Plants, etc. for those needs.
next time you are down, Ask them what they need! Let me know if I can be of any Help:
