Horses & horseback riding in Baja - anyone interested?

"Sunset Tours” of the beaches of Rosarito - if you have your own horses you are welcome to join us.

Adventure Eco Tours by Horseback are designed for Western Pleasure open-trail riding tours for half day, full day and multiply day and night trips in the Rosarito Beach area of Baja CA, MX. We welcome you to come and explore the way early California was with the missions, ranchos, vaqueros, cabellaros and indigenous people with their pueblos. Special tours to and from the beaches to the mountains and dessert oasis can be customized tour packages for your family, groups and friends. These “Special Tours” can be scheduled in advanced "seven days a week -52 weeks a year."

This "Sunset Tour" of over two hours of horseback riding is available by reservations for families, groups, and singles. Appointments are being accepted for a scheduled 3:30 pm "sunset ride" on the beaches of Playas de Rosarito. A scheduled rest stop in the middle of this two hour plus tour can provide Mexican snacks such as fish tacos, toastados, seafood c-cktails and beverages such as beer, c-cktails, sodas, etc. are available at additional cost.

The horseback riding tour can be for the experienced rider that enjoys a good canter as well as a gallop, and for the people who enjoy a slower pace. These Baja horses are well trained, sure footed and enjoy the ride as well. Traveling from the horse facilities - which is near the center of Rosarito, the tour heads southeast through a portion of the beautiful Rosarito canyon and then on to the beach for a great ride at Sunset. Most likely, you will even see the infamous "green flash" at this time of year. Returning to the horse facility will be by star light and the moon - which is a great experience.

These minimum two hour cost Sunset tours will get you two and a half hours of riding and - if you choice to ride the third full hour, the cost would be an additional $7.50 per rider. NOTE: Gift certificates are available.

Pricing per rider:
1st. hour: $25.00
2nd. hour: $20.00
3rd. first 1/2 hour: FREE
Total $45.00

Special Sunset Tours for five or more riders.

Pay for 4 tour riders (min. two hour tours at $45.00 per rider) and the fifth rider is FREE. Tours include a bilingual, safety, tour guide that will lead you through the area. NOTE: be sure and bring the cameras and a warm jacket or coat for the evening part of the ride.
