La Floresta is on the north side of Ave. Floresta (coincidence?) just west of the intersection with Ave. Juarez.

OK Elgatoloco... I could not wait any longer to find out about what a "gastronomic wonder Huarache" is. I found this article that explains it.
http://www.houstonpress.com/issues/2000-06-29/cafe.html
Where can you get these in Ensenada? Sounds GREAT!

We ate them at the place that Me No told us about. Heading south you pass the turnoff to La Buf and head into heart of maneadero shortly the roadway
will go from four lanes wide to two lanes wide right there on the right after the stoplight you will see El Recreo, pull over and make sure you are
hungry!! The Huaraches are HUGE!!
Have Fun!!!!

The cat is out of the bag!
Ouch! GATO! I can see it now, instead of all the gringos parking across the street while, I sit and enjoy my Huarache chuckling, I will now have to
wade through them. Oh well, Tacos el Poblano is good too(across the street) just not as good. The worst part, no HUARACHES!

I must stop by for those huaraches for sure. Even if I am not hungry, I want to taste them (can reheat later, huh?).

I know I should have kept my big mouth shut, but I'm TOO easy when I'm "salivatin' like a pavlov dog" . My hope is that all the new business will faciltate an expansion? I hope to see you there this summer! The first Huarache is on me!!

Bob H
It has been against my better judgement to do anything but scarf down what ever it is on site when visiting the various culinary establishments
bejewling the vast territory that is the the incredible peninsula that we all love to spend time exploring whenever and however we might find
ourselves......what was the question?? Oh yea! I do not think the Huarache would be as good when heated as it is made on a slightly crisp 'fried'
tortilla. But let us know what your observations are!!
HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!

Headed SOUTH tomorrow!
for 16 days!! Now, with all these places to eat.... which one to I choose... and then I read about Yaques in Rosarito Beach. Oh well, with 16 days I
can try a lot. Will be spending most of the time in the Mulege area. I hope this day goes by fast because I am READY!

16 Days!!!
You lucky son of a gun!
If you are like me you when we are headin 'deep' you will probably be doing 80 on the toll road when you pass thru Rosarito!
Yaqui will still be there upon your return! In fact it is the PERFECT last stop before you head back to reality!
Have Fun and take a photo or two!!

Please tell Maria you saw her on the internet - photo's from Bob... her English is non-existant but she seems to understand. The Shrimp Tacos are
very tasty and her "fixin's" are always fresh. she will put two nice size shrimp in each small tortilla. Try some onions on there too!
I want one right now!

I am very happy that everyone who has stopped by for these outstanding fish and shrimp tacos has enjoyed them. I'm sure the increase in business
makes them happy also.
Gracias, Bob H

Tacos Don Blas in San Carlos (highly rated *****)
When I was in San Carlos for 10 days I ate at Tacos Don Blas next to the police station and el centro. It is very popular with locals and visitors.
The owner is a real nice guy and the food is incredible for the price. He uses high quality prime cut grade AA Beef that he imports in to make his
tacos etc.
