HEADING FOR LAS BARRILES & LA PAZ in April
Sitting here laughing, loudly, by myself, as I re-read the response to a post of mine way back when. “For the Baja Lady’s” and the response below by
one of those ladies:
longlegsinlapaz
"Bernie, I'm not wimpy...I'm not anyone's Grandmother:...I'm not even anyone's Mother...and I'm definitely not one of those "____" on the road, drawn
by a Mexican Pied Piper. You stay away from La Paz, 'k’ I don't wanna be fodder for some future chapter!"
Well, guess you should know that I am heading down there to visit with as many Nomads as I can meet but particularly Lee Massey (bajalera) in La Paz
and Sara (Eli) in Barriles.
I also hope to meet Carole (longlegs) while I am down so she can see what a wimpy old guy I are.
I’m laughing because Carole should know that I have finished about a hundred pages of another Baja book that I said I would never write. The chapter
that Carole alluded to has already been written so she need not worry about meeting me.
I am calling the book, “Bernie Talkin’ Baja……with his Nomad Friends.” It will not be registered with the Library of Congress, will not have an ISBN
number nor will it flash a barcode.
Nope! It is being written for my family and friends and for any Nomad who would like one—for free—but only on the 3rd of May of this year at the
Pyramid Resort where Keri will be hosting our 6th annual Baja Authors Book Signing Event…….
Woops! Don’t be angry Keri—I forgot you didn’t want to announce it yet.
Any non-Nomad may purchase the book on that one day for $20.00 per copy
Hope a bunch of you guys and gals will show up because I sure enjoy jawing with each and everyone of you………….
Sorry Dennis! I just couldn’t stop myself so you’ll just have to live with, yet another, of my Baja Bano Books……..At least this one will come with a
plain brown wrapper!

Hi Bernie, Stop on by. Second driveway on the left passed the tope after the Pemex. Alaskan flag hanging off the roof.
I'll stop by your place when I get back to Santee.

I didn't see your post the other day 'cause my computer was downed by the storm. Glad David gave it a bump.
Thanks for the mention, Bernie. I'm looking forward to your latest endeavor and I'll try my darndest to make the book signing. See you then.
