and, either 2 miles or 1 kilometer (0.6 mile)?

I've heard of 'Mexican time' but never 'Mexican distance'!

Good catch Lencho... put ain't you a little picky?? This for the local economy etc..The cabs have to drive 5 k's and and help saving gas and environment and they can charge 5 miles to mkae more money and put more buying power into the local market..... lol

It looks like this is the planned replacement for the old Hacienda Hotel they just tore down.

yep, another tourism bunker for La Paz......
Right next to the famous Grand Spa.... lol
The last pic in that Blog Post Grand Spa is made from the future beach at that La Posada thing

That historical building is the old Caracol Disco....at least that is the name I remember...it was definitely a disco.
