I'm in Port Orchard. I know there are alot more of us here. A few years ago I had a Washington/Baja get together at Seabeck St. Park. 20 or so came for the visit. We should do that again, anybody game?

If we can work out the timing, we would join the party.
I think it's about 4 hours drive from us to you.
We're in the "Gorge", an hour east of Portland.

Aha,
The other member from Lyle makes his appearance.

Hi Diver,
I can't make any promises, but if you're gong to be home (in Lyle) around the beginning of May, I was thinking about stopping in. Maybe we'll have better luck than last time.

We'll be here and look forward to meeting you and Robin.
If it works out, you might enjoy seeing some folks at the first Saturday of the month Lions club pancake breakfast.
We have one partial and one full RV hook-up if you need a place to park.

Being a Washingtonian is knowing how to say Sequim--and that there are places called Dosewallips and Humptulips [spellings not guaranteed).

Edited by Bajalera to indicate that she does know how to spell Washingtonian.

Exactly right! Most tourist say SE-quim.

OK class, now try Suquamish or Sammamish or Skykomish or Stillaguamish

And for tonights homework, use all 4 in a sentence. And then say it fast 4 times.

Debra
If we are anywhere close at time,we'll be there. We really enjoyed it the last time, and still are in contact with some neat folks we met there.Still have our 15 ft yacht and would float over from Whidbey again if the weather is as good as last time.

I hated it when Swinomish Slough [SWIN-oh-mish SLOO), which separates Whidbey Island from the mainland, got changed to Swinomish Channel. The old name had such a nice swish to it.

Oops! That should be Fidalgo, not Whidbey. [Been away too long.]

Sounds like some interest here.........

I heading down to Bahia in a couple of weeks, should be home in a couple of months (I really do plan)

I'll do somethinking on it and try to figure out a date/dates to throw out for concideration as it gets closer. I'm thinking Aug. would be good (like last time........

Check in here in a couple of months for info.

I'll head the thread WA/Baja get together

Sorry Roger, hope this isn't too much of a hi-jack ;)
