GRAFFITI at Sole De Mayo above Santiago

Easter weekend at the most beautiful waterfall in Baja turned out to be the worst vandalism in history.

These kids think graffiti is art. If graffiti is art why dont they buy their own canvas for their so-called art work!

Graffiti has also been applied from the marina in Cabo all the way towards the famouse arch on beautiful rocks!

Cartavina also use to be a beautiful scenic drive.

What a shame!!!

A few years ago the taggers got the falls with charcoal and fat from their fire, wrote their names on the the cliffs. I shot it all with my camera, gave the pix to Sergio at the Palomar in Santiago, he gave them to his friends and Semarnap -- a month later the whole thing was cleaned up and I heard they caught the kids (all from la Paz) and there was a day of reckoning. I tried to clean up some of the charcoal but it's hard to know exactly what to use so you don't pollute the waterway while you're cleaning up. Looks like I'm gonna have to go and get more pix now just in case.

Good job! We hate graffiti and just know one of these days it will end up on our beautiful wall outside. The only thing around our neighborhood that seems to work (so far) are sensor lights. Guess they don't like to do their "art" under bright lights.
