New here, looking forward to the site
I "found" this site a while ago and have been reading lots of posts and replies. A lot of good information is here, so I decided to join. Want to say
I appreciate all who are here, making this forum as good as it is and I hope to contribute when I can. Thanks.

What part of Baja do you like to visit? (or do you live there...) Welcome!
BTW, your info on the side shows you registered July 2006...a glitch in the system?

You have some catching up to do since you've been around longer than I.
Good to see you out of the closet.

Thanks for the words of encouragement . I sort of goofed up in the registration process some time ago. I am now official.
A little about me. I started going to Baja in the 60's in my '51 Willys Jeep Overland. Fell in love with the place. I took a hiatus for a few
decades, never forgetting. Several years ago I bought my Dodge, converted it to run on WVO, fixed it up for camping, surfing, general exploring,
willing to use it hard. In the last few years I have traveled there on a yearly basis. Raising a family has put a dent in the sojourns, but now they
are old enough to go with me. It has been quite a shock to see how much it has changed. One of my favorite places was Salsipuedes, now gone. The
development has been crazy. But, there is still a world to explore and it has been fun reading other posts about Baja. Who knows, I am always looking
for "partners in crime" to go South of the border, it is hard to find others who share a love of the place.

Sounds great! Your stories of those first trips would be awesome to read! Any photos??
I began coming to Baja with my parents in our '65 Kaiser Jeep Wagoneer... in 1965... Been nuts about it since!
Photo of my mom and I in 1967 at Nuevo Mazatlan (Agua de Chale) with our Jeep and a trailer we pulled down there to camp in... I was about 10 that
year.

Yep, kids will do that!
You should have no problem hooking up with like-minded Nomad folks. Just like a real family we have many personalities. Take yer pick!
One thing for sure is, if you need help the Nomads will assist. Remember to watch out for that "off-topic" area though. It's sorta like the edge of
the world. Once you fall off...well, that may be it!....
btw, no shortage of "criminals here"
