short bola report

day time temps were around 82 and the nights were cool, only two days of wind and one was when we left. fishing was lousy as a red tide moved in and about the only thing hitting were some grouper along the shore. water was very red but mostly glassy and lots of bait in the area. saw some whales in the area but very little sea life allthou we did get into the giant squid for about a hour. roads in good shape and the dirt road south is all good. ran into the guys from baja.net with all there toys and down a few beers with them before they left, tim was in good spirits as he was loading the trucks with all the stuff they had and was raring to go. all in all a good trip to the bay.
