FAMOUS PANGA "TIA" FOR SALE IN LORETO

"Tio" Don O'Neil had a custom 22' fiberglass panga built so he could take his beloved bride, "Tia" Ann O'Neil fishing and panga camping. (Ann authored the difinitive book on the history of Loreto in 2001.) TIA has a raised deck in the bow (with dry storage underneath) suitable for 2 people to sleep comfortably. Although Don died in 1998, Ann wished to continue to panga-camp, so we said we would take her. We purchased a new 70HP Johnson outboard at Arjonas in La Paz in December 1999, and indeed took Ann panga camping a few more times. Ann moved north a year later and TIA has been in storage ever since, just in case Ann wanted to make that one last camping trip. Ann died last year, and now it is time for TIA to find her next owner. She could use a new trailer. The outboard has less than 100 hours. $5000. Kirk@tmre.org
