San Ignaico Fiesta!
San Ignaico will hold it`s Fest July 27 thru the 31. There will be off road racing, Horse races, Dancing in the plaza and a large group of mexican
horsemen coming from all directions to line up at the plaza in front of the mission to give honor to the saints. It`s party time!
We all want a peaceful world, filled with love and laughter, but we fill ourselves with anger and hate trying to fiqure out how to achive it.

Thanks for dates! If we are in Bahia Asuncion at that time, we will try to get there---love San Ignacio, and love local fiestas.

San Ignacio was kind enough to share his saints day with my birthday. A few years ago we went to the fiesta to celebrate. Stayed at Ignacio
Springs...you can hear the music from the baseball field while floating on a raft staying cool...........it is HOT.
That year there was a fire in the oasis. A friend of mine wanted to know if my birthday cake candles caused it.....well an exfriend.
It is one of those fiestas traditionales that draws people from all over....
Great time, lotsa food and music and people.
Shari, are you guys going?

San Ignacio? Is that what you mean? Where is this other place you are talking about...San Ignaico?

Spelling and typo police are alive and well. Strange, we did not have any trouble understanding the location.

We pulled through there for the north road years ago, unexpectedly stumbling into the Fiesta.
At the bridge over the river there was a Police officer, and a guy handing out tecates. We got stopped, given a Tecate, and with a nod and a smile
from the cop, we drove into town and partied our a$$es off!

The San Ignacio Traditional Fiestas are well worth going to...IF you can stand the heat and mosquitos! It is awesome and I have been a couple of
times...but camping was uncomfortable...NO sleep but major partying. But if you can afford to stay at Ignacio Springs or La Pinta or somewhere air
conditioned it would be more fun. The dances in the square at night are magical, especially the night of the coronation of the Queen! Our traditional
fiestas with all the same events (but much cooler) are around Aug.15. So if you are around San Ignacio or here for those dates...don't miss them!

San Ignacio is a good place to visit anytime, festival or not. Those big trees around the plaza give a lot of shade.
