Fulano,

You stated awhile back that your reason for posting here was to counter the BS about Baja. I'm paraphasing of course. I think your posts would be so much more meaningfull if some involved personal experience, what say you?

I mean really the majority of visitors to this site fall into 3 catagories:

Those that live in Baja

Those that visit Baja

Those that are planning to go to Baja

By your own account you don't fall into any one of those catagories, do you?

Again, I ask why are you really here?:?:

Yes, I do. Do you have anymore questions for me, Ken? Perhaps you would like to discuss Baja sometimes, instead of me? Or perhaps we should start a "Discuss Fulano" message board?

No more questions Ful. I don't expect an answer from you. As to your narcissistic suggestion of a message board, I don't think so.

I'm sorry then. I must have been mistaken. You see at the bottom of all of your posts your signature block links to two webpages:
http://ultimatebaja.com/
http://paramitijuana.com/

and when I look those up on WhoIs, it reports they are owned by your wife, Theresa Simone Vanover-Garcia. And then when I actually go to the website it says:

"My name is Fernando Garcia...Ultimate Baja strives to offer the highest quality of services on the market today. Since the 1980’s, we have provided superior service to our customers and have assisted them with reservations and they’re [sic] travel needs."

I just don't understand how I could have possibly come to the conclusion that your paycheck comes from tourism, specifically Baja tourism. Mea culpa.

[p.s. In case you are too dense to figure it out, the preceding was sarcasm.]

Fernando, don't you think it is about time you stopped pandering to the gringos? We are not all stoooopid, ya know?

sponsored by Fernando? I just can't find that. You can't even tell the difference between Fideicomiso and Fernando. I've had people call me Francisco but never Fideicomiso.
I wonder if there is a San Fideicomiso :lol::lol:

You know what Fulano.. Fernando is just a very proud citizen of Tijuana.. One that actually wants to make things better, one that is NOT leaving (like you say in your other post) he is sticking it out and trying to fight.. Yes, he may take offense to things that I wouldnt, and things that I cant understand Why he would take offense, BUT its because He is VERY proud of Tijuana, and really loves his City! Yes Fernando will do MUCH better financially IF Tijuana tourism boomed.... BUT the thing that you forget is that Almost ALL of Tijuana would do better also.... So Fernando is NOT alone in that.. I dont think his reason for defending TJ is because he wants more money or a "PayCheck"

Tijuana, along with Mexico Has and always has had many problems, BUT it also has MANY positives.. Right now is a bad time for Tijuan, BUT it will get better with people like Fernado who actually care.. and If people like you shut up and quit trying to make things look worste than what they are!

By the way, I have a question??? You don't live here right?? A little birdie told me something about somekind of Fruad or something you were involved in?? Just curious... Maybe I am mistaken.. could be one of the other Fulano's on the other boards...

Say Fernando, you havn't been samplying the inventory from the narcomenuedo's have you?

This does appear on YOUR website, does it not? Does not "patrocinado por" directly translate as "sponsored by"? Do you not also have it there in poor English?

Do I have to rub your nose in it?

Asked and answered about a half-dozen times in the past few months. There is a search button on the upper left-hand corner of this page. You'll find the answer in a few minutes.

Not that the old biddies here would ever believe it.

He may not.. BUT he is MUCH much higher than you.. I don't know you, BUT I know him... I know of you from what I have heard both on this Board and by other means, SO I am confident in saying HE is WAY ahead of you in creditability about Tijuana, and furthermore any Creditability (just like I said I have heard alot)

I hope this stops real soon...

Fulano, instead of joining a Baja family (Nomads) and attacking one of its long time members (who has gone above and beyond the duty anyone could hope for, in kindness and hospitality).... perhaps you should cool it and let us get to know YOU first? :saint:

What is your purpose in posting here since you joined? People come here to learn about Baja travel or to share what they have discovered... for the most part. What are your favorite Baja activities or destinations?

Picking fights with your brother Nomads is a poor way to get acceptance.

How about finding nice things to say about Ferna, or say nothing about people you have never met...
:light:
Cheers!

Mood: Enjoying Life with Wife In Mexico, Easy on The Easy

[*] posted on 7-14-2008 at 01:22 AM

Fulano, people are known for what they do, what they know, and what they say. Fernando is someone I have met several times and he has always been someone that quickly assists others with information if requested. He is someone that is humorous, outgoing, friendly, and knows an enormous amount of information to help you out while visiting or living in Mexico. Fernando did not make what is happening in and around TJ happen nor is he supportive of these lowlifes that seek to harm not only people in TJ but tourist alike. Having said that some of the most terrible things done by these piece of crap lowlifes like beheading others has not happened yet to a tourist and I pray it does not. Nobody should have to die by such a terrible action done to them. If somebody like Fernando wants to try and at least show the other side of TJ and its true people just trying to live and let live what is the harm. I have been going into Mexico for over 40 years and granted this is probably the worst I have seen it, I know it will get controlled sooner or later. Hopefully, it will be fixed sooner than later but telling people to throw in the towel is not making it come to an end any "sooner." Fulano, you are citing some things that are wrong with Mexico but do not let your frustration spill over on ones that are trying to keep the "fires of hope" going for those that want Mexico to be what it was and can be. No Fight----Be Happy_____No Hurry,No Worry, Just Fun is real and can be there if we stay focused and stay safe!! Just for the record Fernando and his wife have always been a source to find fun but also to stay safe!!! Later, bajafun777
