Shamus & Yolanda

About 5 years ago I was in San Jose del Cabo after a yacht delivery to La Paz. I had some time to kill since my flight wasn't leaving til the next day - I was cruising the town square and ran into a short, long-haired fellow named Shamus (says he's an Irish-Mexican) that was selling his leather goods and woven baskets from the mainland. We talked and he introduced me to his wife Yolanda and their kids. They explained that they worked with poor indiginous groups on the mainland and helped sell their baskets for them in San Jose....anyway, these are great folks that I'd like to see again. Does anyone know of them or their whereabouts?

Yolanda & kids are back in Ireland and doing fine after Shamus had heart attack & died while driving solo on the road between Barriles & Pescadero, approx 4-5 years ago.
If stuck on a desert island ... it's those two kids who grew up 'on the land', I'd want with me. Simply amazing!
They'll return some day.

Crap, bad news - I was hoping to hook up with Shamus at some point. Glad to hear that Yolanda & the kids are doing well. Those kids had to be tough growing up in the van...
