Bahia Asuncion Traditional Fiestas..Aug.14-17
This year's bahia Asuncion's Traditional Fiestas will take place on August 14-17. Everyone is welcome to participate in a variety of events including
beach sports events, horse, car, kayak & bike races, rodeo,dances every night with 2 live bands, a fair with rides, food booths, a fishing derby
with free fish dinner and more...great family event! Here is a photo album of last year's fiestas to give you an idea of the fun we had...the queen is
my nephew's novia! Hope to see some of you here this year.

I have an idea...maybe Kevin could get one of his old Green Tortoise buses and do a fiesta run starting in canucklandia with the gypsies and swinging
through alberta for timo & barbarena, cross over into gringolandia for Diver and the Iflyfishers etc etc...could work! ALL ABOARD the fiesta bus!

The fiesta was really fun last year and should be even better this year with the new stadium---looking real forward to being there.
Shari, in your pictures, you left out one of our favorite parts of the fiesta at night.
