Re El Palomar: can a truck with trailer make it up the driveway with turnaround. I've always wanted to try this spot - had a great breakfast there a few years back.

You can get in and out of the adjacent gas station easy enough and the restaurant parking is on the street. I can't even recall seeing a parking lot for the motel. Seems the whole complex is a bit squeezed for space. Hope somebody here knows. If not, I may have to take a run down there for an answer and, of course, a few frosty ones at the bar.
Have you ever been to the swimming pool and camp ground across the street?
