Garmin GPS for sale

Just put on Craigslist.

We have decided we still prefer the old maps and almanacs---

Garmin eTrex, Legend Cx----played with, but never really used. Included --

City Navigator Software --opened, downloaded, never used.
National Geographic Back Roads Explorer ---never opened
Baja Expeditioner CD---not used
Book ---GPS made easy---never read.

Asking $200.00. U2U if interested.

Diane and John

I guess you never discovered the sport of Geocaching? It is a great way to learn how to use your GPS and have some fun driving and hiking!

Many caches hidded all over Baja... Tim Walker of TimsBaja.com hid the first one in Mexico, and I was the first to locate it (July, 2001)... Good fun and gets you to see more of the outdoors! http://www.geocaching.com

Not something we are interested in doing, but it is a good sales point.

Since John's Master's Degree is in geography from a while back, he prefers just using maps to explore the back country.

However, this GPS should be great for the next owner. Yes, a shamless bump to the top

Diane

The software alone is worth what you are asking.

I've got one of these and I don't use it either. Think I will go find it and sell it also.

WOW
We have used ours so many times in the middle of nowhere to determine which way to go, I cant imagine off roading without one. I have yet to find a map that is perfect.
Someone should jump on this deal!

Gees, you are making me wonder if we should learn to use it.:lol:

But that won't happen.

Thanks for the positive endorsement and the bump.

My e-Trex will show Ensenada and the coastline, but nothing specific. When we cruised to Cabo it also showed the coastline. With the Baja software, you should pick all of that up.

I like the fact that mine will show speed in MPH/KPH and also the altitude, distance traveled and other info. It is just more than for finding places.

Being former Army, I too like a paper map, but find the e-Trex to be a great companion tool.

That's nice Woody. But since we take and give items and financial support to friends and organizations in our village on a regular basis, I think we will sell this one.

We have something very specific in mind we will buy with the money from this and the generator.
