Mex 1 road construction

Looks like they have a major road widening project going on along Mex 1. We drove down to GN last week and the road was in various stages of repair almost the entire distance beggining Just north of El Rosario with a new bridge going in. Looked like they were widening the most dangerous places first as the construction in the worst places was pretty much complete. The edges of the road were pretty much graded and ready for gravel and ashphalt all the way down with active paving and delays going on around St Augustin (sp) between Catavinia and El Rosario. The road will probably be a mess for quite some time, they arent just filling in a few pot holes, they are doing major widening and complete resurfacing.
