new mini storage for mulege...

a new secure mini storage and storage yard is being built just south of town in mulege...

i talked to the owner and builder yesterday

the location is on "high ground" about a 1/2 mile south of the pemex in mulege

there will be concrete block-locking garages...
covered boat-trailer spots
uncovered storage
entire place will be fenced with block and chain-link

the mini storage will have Full-Time security
and english speaking office workers to assist clients
who don't speak spanish

completion should be late april to accomodate the "snowbirds" of mulege and loreto

things are moving fast
the sign will be going up soon on the highway
and construction permits and enviormantal issues have already been approved

more later...

Bob,

Who is building it? Is that the property where Baron was going to build a mini storage. I think he gave up the idea and sold the property. Or is it "Mad Max Sid"?

I do know it is needed, particularly being on high ground. If you get wind of rates, let us know.:bounce:

its a canadian using a local construction firm

the place is NOT in an arroyo or flood plane

the storage WILL stay DRY!!!

Does that mean they are not expecting it to become a "Stop and Shop" for the banditos. The storage in La Paz did really well and was popular but got wiped out by the hurricane. Luckily it sounds like this one should be in a good area.

Pescador

The storage yard in La Paz is back were it was, full security and hopefully no more catastrophes.
