Bajacat, I have been into the park... or close as I didn't see any park entrance signs... But, into the Sierra Juarez anyway... Just north of and again just south of Laguna Hanson a couple of different trips... pine trees and over 5,000' up.

Snow in Baja

Looks like the snow was about a year ago today! Early January of this year I was able to experience my first time in Baja. Toward the end of our 1200 mile road trip through Baja we camped out in the Sierra San Pedro de Mártir National Park in a brisk 17 (-8C) degree weather. The next day we went to check out the Observatory.

Any snow this year?

Can't see any from here. Just doesn't seem like it's been that cold. When it is and it rains, we get snow on the hilltops right above us.

I don't think my view of the Sierra goes to that altitude.
