Fishing trip to Bay of la - Bahia Concepcion
my first trip to Baja sur south of Gonzaga . my plan is to explore the area b4 my future trip with my boat ,from bay of la / Punto Chivato / San Lucas
Cove / mulege/ to Bahia Concepcion . I will drive my 2WD Toyota Tacoma and a kayak. for 2 to tree weeks, I hope I will be lucky with the wind -
yellowtail
any suggestions ? tips ?
I will have some room on my track so if anybody need any thing from LOS ANGELES welcome to contact me.

You make NO mention of when your trip is.............how can we advise you on the wind?
Kayaks can be DEADLY in BOLA during the windy months.
Just judging by your question about the road into BOLA, I would suggest you do some more research about this trip before embarking on it, if you are
solo.

The road to L.A. Bay is well paved... and there are two Pemex stations there, now... also several places to eat, sleep, buy groceries...

we are including use of our little "bay boat"
(there are limitations)
you could check out the bay by water

no tent camping here...sorry
we do have pacifico...
160 pesos a case
60 peso deposit on the bottles
thats 50 cents a bottle at todays exchange rate
next door...at naranjos they have tent camping for about $5-$7
bathrooms too...
its too cold right now for camping IMHO hahahahaha

That has to be the worst time of the year to possibly consider doing a trip like that. I live just south of San Lucas Cove and January may well blow
out with 20-40 mph winds for a week or more at any given time. On the section south of San Fransisquito, there are areas where you will have a real
challenge finding a safe place to pull in to avoid the waves when attempting to land. Since I am a white water kayaker I have run some of that area
in higher waves and even for me with a fool-proof eskimo roll, it was at best dicey at times. I would suggest that you consider doing it in April or
May when the weather is much nicer, the wind is more consistent.
Even with my experience, I would never consider doing this section, even in good weather, solo.
