the Spit The Spit The Spit

We have always referred to the area that you live as the Spit, and have done so ever since we had a trailer down there since 1986. Infact, Alex Pabloff was the one who told us what this area was referred to, so if you have an issue with that, take it up with him. Afterall, he was born there.

Further, our long time friend and neighbor, Col. C.W. Van Rostrum, who has lived there since the 1960's always referred to that area as the Spit. As a matter of fact, so did all of the old timers at La Joya. When we had a drive to collect money for attorney fees for the beseiged people who were losing their homes, it was referred to as The Spit.

Ivan Villarino refers to it as The Spit, as do most of the Mexican families we know that live there, refer to it as the Spit.

You know, Me No, you really tried to trash out my property and home that we worked years on improving, and you failed miserably.

As C.W Van Rostrum would say, " Bag it,
dipchite."

:moon: You still are arguing a point that is senceless. You didn't just call it "the spit" you pointed out that I was wrong to call it punta estero and in fact it was estero beach, which everyone knows is on the other side of the bay. You deleted the thread because you came off looking, lets just say, less than credible. So to continue to try and defend your statement by twisting what you actually wrote, and name dropping, if you must. Instead of having some integrity and saying you were wrong, you deleted the entire thread.

As far as your house goes, I have never seen it. It may be nice. My point was that seemed like alot based on your description, and I know, as I have visited many that are for rent in the area and know the prices. You have no View, and only 1 bathroom. For 560 per month in that area you can easily have a View and or be on the beach with a view, and have at least a two bedroom to bath. As it turns out you stated you did not end up renting, but selling. You said yourself this would bring the actually monthly payment down to around 360. That sounds like it is more in the ballpark. You never did straighten out what was so horrible there that made you move, and then was straightened out enough to make you think about taking it off the market. :moon:

The Spit

I have always known it as "the Sand Spit" ever since I would go camping there as a kid with my family in the early 1970's. This name came from the Nordoffs with whom my father was good friends, and who used to own the land there before the Revoluci?n.

Actually there were two classified ads here - for sale & for rent - for the property, and I removed them both when I became aware they were no longer valid offers.

Sally, how you been? You up North or in Loreto. I have a friend who really wants to talk to Jaunita. Funny response.
