New Adventure Group in Loreto

Loreto Exploration Club

This is an informal Loreto organization that sponsors outdoor adventures including Day-Hikes, Car-Camping trips, Off-Hwy Exploring, Backpacking, Beachcombing, Rockhounding, Kayaking, Diving, Photography, Gourmet Camp-cooking, etc.

There are no dues, and no fees;
costs (ride-sharing, group meals, motels, etc) are divided when necessary.

Members receive email announcements of events, and
all members are encouraged to propose and organize events.

The only stipulation is that members must RSVP all Overnight Trip announcements, going or Not going,
so that organizers know messages were received, and can get a count, and assign tasks, meals, rides, etc.
Members habitually failing to RSVP overnight trips will be dropped.

To sign up or ask further questions, contact

Norm Christie: normanc@olypen.com
Loreto : (613) 135 – 2540 until mid-June;
After mid-June, USA (360) 437 – 0741.

Sounds like a good group Norm... I hope we get to see some photos from the trips!

If you guys ever stop at Rancho Viejo (on the road to San Javier), I would like to see some photos of any remains from the FIRST San Javier mission site, that was there from 1699-1710. Perhaps a wall or foundation stones?

Thanks for all your great work and articles!
