A new plan!
My FM3 should be ready for pick up in about 3 more weeks. I dropped it with Blanca. She is very good if you need FM3 help.
That's in Ensenada.
So I think I will fly in there and get it. That's right fly.
I'll jump in my plane at Brown Field and fly in.
I have a new girlfriend there who might pick me up at the airport and take me into town to get the "3".
After I have a little fun I jump back in my plane and fly to Santa Rosalia area. Really I want San Marcos Island. I think there is a little runway
there.
Yellowtail are there!
So a days fishing and back in the plane for home. I guess if I catch my fish early enough I could be home the same day.

that's the way to go, man.
San Marcos pista is one way in and one way out.
use caution.
expect the gypsum plant manager to greet you. runway is private use and theirs. others have flown in to fish and dive tho.

I did a little reading and ya it's private but you can get prior permission to land there. I emailed Mike Kanzler for some info. I'm sure he knows the
details.
It's just a loose idea right now but I like it. Looks the the closest and earliest shot at yellowtail.
I'm guessing the weather is real nice over there right now.

my input the other day was it is hot in mulege right now.
Are you going out with San Marcos Mike? i hear he is pretty good.
i was supposed to hop some divers over there once but it never happened.
many years ago the BBP used to go there and tour the gyp mines. i'd like to do that one day.
supposed to be killer free diving for pelagics around there. or maybe schoolies.

Ya, I'll bet it's starting to warm up nice around Mulege now.
I didn't think of diving. I'll bring my free-dive gear and do a beach dive whe I get there.
Ya,
I'll try and fish with Mike K. Seems to be the pro.
Anybody got a clue on were to stay at the island?
I'll camp if I have to but maybe I can stay at someones house. I'm not a good camper.

no hotels on the island i am aware of. it's just a town owned by the mining company for the workers there.
no store i bet either except that they probably barge over all their living supplies.

Cypress is just cranky because he did not catch any yellowtail. (maybe that is because he was fishing out of Mulege)
Actually this sounds like a good plan, but I think Fishbuck needs to fly up here to Colorado and use me for a guide. We can fly to San Marcos Island ,
stay in my house , and catch yellowtail till your arms hurt.

When Pescador talks about fishing, listen carefully and take notes. He's the man!!

Fishbuck let me know if you do anything like this the last week of June. First weekend I'm racing in the B500.I have some time off and would love to
go fishing and diving. I also have time off in August and October. October I was thinking Asuncion ..... Willing to help out with expenses.
Please keep us updated.
