Help please, Somewhere in the recent past
there was a discussion on painting pilas or those big black water towers. I can;t find it . Can anyone help me locate the thread, k

Are you talking about the black plastic pilas, or something out of concrete?

The black water tanks are usually made of polyethylene. Go to a good paint dealer and ask him/her for recommended paint for applying to polyethylene
(assuming yours is poly). Paint choice also depends on whether it's interior or exterior location.

The paint that seems to work is the KRYLON paint designed for plastic such as chairs and tables (kinda like the ones one sees at taco stands
all over BAJA.
