I miss him too. He and I had some very interesting U2U discussions about the structural properties of bamboo, of all things. He was a very unique guy, left us too soon.

I will never forget meeting him. He was so much different in person. A very kind gentleman, soft spoken, offering beer, etc. In this photo you can see part of his bamboo rack on his small pickup.

We miss you JR!

JRBAJA WE HERE IN BAJA NOMAD HONOR YOUR MEMORY

JRBAJA, Thank you for not coming down and pulling on my feet at night while I am sleeping and scaring the bejesus out of me for using your images and for putting you in my animations. Rest with all your friends and family in heaven my brother. I am sorry I never got to banter with you in here and I am sure back then we would have had the Chicken Coopers on the ropes begging for mercy.

My spelling again.

You Guys Are Too Much

Of something.

I just finished walking dogs and feeding the menagerie and now I am crying before breakfast.

Happy Birthday, JR, and Happy Trails to You.

He definitely would have had something to say on that turtle bust thread from hell that refuses to die. Cluck, cluck.

Happy Birthday JR

Sure miss the fun times we used to have together.
Like the time we were snorkling at Mermaid beach surrounded by tons of rays, and many good times at Tecolote.
Have a cool one con mucho limones on me.
Seeing those pics of JR has brought a tear or two to my eyes for sure.
This board is just not the same without him:no:
