Thanks for the Nomad Hospitality
Hello Nomads,
Barb & I just wanted to thank all the nomads who attended the party at Wiley and Carol’s on Friday. We especially want to thank Wiley and Carol
for using our visit to La Paz as an excuse to have a party.
The food folks brought was exceptional and the refrescos were refresco.
What was really special was the inclusiveness that we felt. People just seemed to get along and enjoy one another…what a concept! It’s so easy to
get along with people who aren’t confused about who they are or who they want to be when they grow up.
In one short week we made a decision to move to the Baja. There is something magical about the whole area. We have loved the East Cape for years but
have really become fans of the La Paz area.
So far we have bought a house in the city, met with an architect to make some changes, opened a bank account, and booked a return trip. No telling
what will happen when we get to spend some real time there!
We have a lot to learn about being immigrados but will try our hardest to catch up. Your advice is most appreciated.
Thanks so much for your hospitality and warm welcome. We hope we can do the same for those who follow.
Thanks would be incomplete without special ones to Carol Ana and Steve for befriending us upon our arrival.
Peace, love, and fish tacos,
Bill & Barb

WELCOME HOME!
Barb & Bill, it was a sincere pleasure to meet some truly decisive people who know what they want & GO FOR IT WITH GUSTO! No wishy-washy over-thinking/over analyzing things for you guys! You came, you saw, you experienced, you loved, you bought! And you actually beat
my speed record for making a well-educated decision to buy here.
You'll both be a positive asset to La Paz! You're wonderful, down-to-earth folks & I appreciate the fact that you've already committed to "paying
it forward" as you gain knowledge & experience. Sharing oft hard-fought for knowledge is half the battle for newbies.
Uhhhhhhhhh....now, about Rule #1........Oh never mind!
Welcome to the neighborhood!!

We too!!
I figure that is we can experience the heat, and still want to be there, it's a go. Frankly, I've been to La Paz numerous times. However, my new bride
has not. So, it's all about how she reacts to it all. On the upside, she has journeyed with me to Cabo and back in mid-summer.

Holy cow- you got a lot of stuff done! Are you for hire?
Very excited for you. Congratulations! The La Pazians at the party who have commented so far I only know from Nomad, but feel like we've been friends
forever. That's a generous group there. You're in good hands.
I give up-what's a texascarwasher?

oladulce,
We are always for hire...if you are into making decisions-right or wrong-you probably don't need us.
texas carwasher was the best I could come up with at the time. We own some car washes in Texas, ergo the name.
Wiley/Carol,
We only hope we can provide the same hospitality you have as time goes on albeit closer to town.
What a compound!
To the rest of you-thanks!
