Red carretera de la zona Pacífico Norte, de los compromisos más importantes para elevar la calidad de vida
El gobernador Narciso Agúndez Montaño reiteró el compromiso de trabajar hasta garantizar que la construcción de la red carretera de la zona Pacífico
Norte concluya a más tardar a principios del año 2011, para lo cual ofreció mantener las gestiones de recursos extraordinarios ante la H. Cámara de
Diputados y el Gobierno federal, pues esta vía de comunicación representa progreso y bienestar para miles de familias arraigadas en comunidades
altamente productivas, pero con grandes rezagos en materia de infraestructura y servicios. En visita de trabajo a esta población pesquera del
municipio de Mulegé, realizó un recorrido de supervisión para constatar el avance de las obras en los tramos que van de la “Y” a Bahía Tortugas y a la
comunidad de Bahía Asunción, así como en el tramo de Campo Fisher a Punta Abreojos; red carretera que cuya construcción constituye uno de los
compromisos más importantes contraídos en su campaña para elevar la calidad de vida de los habitantes de esta región y facilitar la salida de
productos del mar, así como la llegada de nuevos servicios como el transporte. Reconoció que la gestión del Gobierno estatal ha sido fundamental para
dar continuidad a las obras contempladas en el Plan Sexenal Carretero, ya que gracias a negociaciones directas con la H Cámara de Diputados se logró
la asignación de más de 900 millones de pesos, que sumados a los 400 millones propuestos por el Gobierno federal suman los mil 300 millones que se
invierten este año. Destacó que gracias al trabajo de gestión y al ejercicio responsable de un Gobierno de contacto directo y permanente con la gente,
se ha logrado avanzar y concretar proyectos demandados décadas atrás por los habitantes de estas regiones, quienes pese a la desatención de anteriores
administraciones e innumerables adversidades, se mantienen arraigados a sus comunidades y a sus actividades productivas. En la reunión de evaluación
del avance de la red carretera de la zona Pacífico Norte, el señor Marco Antonio López hizo uso de la palabra para reconocer el apoyo del mandatario
sudcaliforniano en la construcción e esta vía de comunicación, anhelada por décadas por los habitantes de esta región. “Nuestro reconocimiento a un
gobernante que ha trabajado con mucha voluntad, con mucho empeño apoyando a los diferentes sectores en todas las comunidades y en todos los
municipios. Cuando se habla con la verdad da confianza, cuando se actúa con dignidad la sociedad lo estima y lo aprecia; si se trabaja en ese sentido,
nuestras comunidades avanzan y nuestras familias elevan su calidad de vida”, sostuvo Marco Antonio López. Ahí se explicó que la carretera Campo
Fisher-Punta Abreojos quedará concluida este año ya que restan sólo 3.8 kilómetros de los 85 que cubre. El tramo de la “Y” a Bahía Tortugas presenta
un avance cercano al 45 por ciento con la cobertura de 40 kilómetros de un total de 94, en tanto que el tramo de la “Y” a Bahía Asunción podría quedar
concluído este año, pues sólo restan 10 de 42 kilómetros. El gobernador Narciso Agúndez adelantó que el próximo viernes sostendrá una reunión de
trabajo en la Ciudad de México con el secretario de Comunicaciones y Transportes Juan Molinar Horcasitas, en la cual se abordarán temas relacionado
con el Plan Sexenal Carretero que tiene como eje central la modernización de la carretera La Paz-Cabo San Lucas.
