I recall pullling into Crusted Butt around 1:00 a.m. many years ago after driving across the state from Colorado Springs. We were hopelessly lost,
there was no moon and the town was totally dark. My buddy Mike was driving, and took a right turn on a narrow dirt road through a meadow surrounded
by woods. The drive dead ended and rather than back us out, Mike bushwhacked us through the long grass to get us turned around. Noting that the
grass seemed to be kinda bumpy, I made him stop, got out and poked around with a flashlight until I discovered that we were in a graveyard. Good
times. |
Sounds like you guys were Greateful Dead on arrival!
Nice driving there Cheech! |
Now that you mention it, there was a guy named Dave (that's D-A-V-E) sleeping in the back seat. |
"Dave's not here man!"

Gotta keep this baja related and I know how. Folks put down Cabo and other resort areas, Butt, those swim-up bars and poolside lounge chairs can be
mighty nice if you're into star gazing. Best time for solteros is when there is one of those EXPENSIVE marlin fishing extravaganzas happening. All the
fish guys are gone all day playing with their bait and the lonely gals are hanging out all over the pool comparing diamond rings. Finisterra is where
I used to fish, before I got hooked up.

Here's a good one!!!.....My son went to a Burning Man celebration last year and ment a man from Los Barriles. And he is going by the title of... "
Doctor Feelgood".... Claimed to be the self appointed Mayor of L.B. or so he said. Anyhow, what was really entertaining however, was that he had a tent
set up at the Burning Man, with a sign that read "FREE BREAST INSPECTIONS" and had a line of women outside waiting to get in. ++C++
