Lots of gearheads in TJ. They cruise playas frequently during the summer. I always enjoy seeing their handiwork, which is excellent.

Thanks Ken for the great phots!

I really enjoyed seeing the "1954 Chevy P/U" My Dad had an the "Early 1955 Series 1 Chevy P/U". It had what they called "a long bed" with measurments of 10 feet 2 inches long and at least 4 foot wide. He put a 16 grage cast iron flat bumper on the back end. It was was about 2 foot wide so when you put the taligate down it would rest on it. Dad called it his "persuader"...persuaded people not to tailgate him or hit he from behind because they would "LOSE".

I learned to drive on that P/U and 40 arces! Had a starter buttom, granny gear with the brake/clutch pedels coming up from the bottom of the floor board...like a tractor.

Thanks again for the walk down memory lane.

Ken those were a memory flash, It is really neat when someone like you took the time to go and take pictures of an event like this, and then post them, of course this isn't for everyone, can you imagine there are people who really don't like these beautiful old cars?

Thanks Ken, I really enjoyed your pictures.

No problem. I linked the photos that my friend Chris posted to http://www.Baja4x4.org - he deserves all of the kudos for the excellent images he took on his digital gear.

Hello all! Glad you liked the pictures. Looks like they are trying to make this a weekly event to promote the REVO & its good to see people coming back there. Here are my pictures from last night:
