what a scary looking map. so many areas of the globe are devoid, for the most part, of the h1n1 virus. this winter will be interesting.......

from some song, "they say you only live twice!" i say, "hey, ya never know!!!"

all our best to all of yours! see ya in baja - if it kills us!

With flu season coming up I have been buying a lot of hand sanitizer and some masks before it hits again. I travel a lot so it's good for me. The pharmacies always run out when there's panic. Load up now.

I mentioned on another thread..........The president of Costa Rica has caught it. That should elevate the awareness in that part of the mundo.

The consensus I hear is that folks over 60 have considerable protection from the H1N1 virus because of it's genetic closeness to the Asian Flu and Hong Kong flu which we older folks have been exposed to in the past. Time Magazine reports that only 3% of those hospitalized have been over 65.
