Go to Sunday Brunch, Bring Home a Door Prize
Last Sunday when we went to brunch at Ruben's, there was a lost dog tied to the door of the market down below on the first floor.
She is a very pretty golden brindle Great Dane with white markings on her chest and neck and cropped ears. The vet says she is healthy and estimates
her age at three years.
Girlie (her temp name) is very pleasant and mellow. She moved in and charmed all the dogs in our house, including the crusty rottweilers. She is
very accepting of our "take-no-prisoners" lone house cat. She is housebroken, very clean and conscientious.
She is looking for a loving home. Please U2U me and I will try to figure out how to send you pictures.

Lost but tied to a door?
3 years old?
Housebroken, very clean and concientious?
Could she by any chance belong to someone and she and her owners are looking for each other instead of a new loving home?
Just wondering.

Yes, She's Lost
But no one is looking for her as far as we can determine.
The employees at the market said that she had been wandering around for several days. They started feeding her after getting concerned about her well
being and tied her up at the front door to keep her out of the highway and to make her visible if someone was looking for her.
They told us that they asked every customer and passers-by if they recognized her and that "No" was the only response.
We are planning to make up a picture poster to put up at the market and distribute around to the local vets.

I Am Batting 2 (or more) for Zero
Ferna
I felt guilty about your response and a little chastised, but I am feeling that even more so now because I didn't have all the facts when I first
posted.
The kids living nearby saw someone shove the dog out of a van and drive off. So strike one, not lost - abandoned.
Strike two, hubby has nixed posting pics because he doesn't want someone to claim bogus ownership.
Thanks for your input, she says (embarassed and blushing).

Sorry, did'nt mean to do that but it seemed strange that you would be looking for
new owners.
