Jimena Donation Station Update

Amigos and Amigas

God Bless the angels that step forward publicly or privately when a disaster strikes.

It seems there are several established entities for donations.

Flying Samaritans have a place on their home page for Anonymous and Member donations.
their site www.flyingsamaritans.org redirects to
www.flyingsamaritans.net

Engineer Mike has posted his.

Mulege Rotary .. I have not been able to find thier specifics but hopefully someone (toneart?) can/will reply here with that info.

Have tried to keep up viewing the posts but simply cannot.

Perhaps this thread can be left intact for info specific to donations - no questions please!

Doug "THANKS" for providng this discussion board and all forums.

Donations through Rotary

If you would like to donate through Rotary, contact Arnold Rotary, Dave Webb current President.

Arnold is working on a link to funnel money to the Mulege Rotary through their associations in the western Sierras, i.e. other Rotaries and affiliates. Because of the scramble in Mulege communications are taking some time but I expect things to get ironed out this week. It will be a snap once the Bancomer is open in Mulege again. You can ask Dave to put you on a contact list for email update once the money conduit is set up which should be shortly, hopefully less than 48 hours.

UPDATED DONATION LIST - Sept 9

People keep asking "where do I donate?"

I have a one-stop shopping place for all of you who want to donate and am updating it as info comes in.

http://www.lasecomujeres.org/Jimena_links.html

Mike Fleming's paypal info for the Mulege Student Scholarship Fund is there, including directions on how to use paypal and how the money will be spent/managed.

Randy Kephart has also provided information for donating to the Mulege Rotary.

Rick Barber's info is there as is how to donate to the Baja Bush Pilots.

Keep checking for additions and updates and spread the word.

I will also post updates there from Mike and Randy as they send them to me or to the forum.

Let's get to work (wallets), Nomads! Keep Mike, Randy, Rick and the Bush Pilots busy tracking donations.
