Well, there you are, all smug with your ticket to freedom. You see, we outside of Rob-me-arito don't qualify to be a...what is it? oh yeah....Rosarito Footprinter. I'm about to move up there just for that reason.
Get Out Of Jail Free card. Yep. That's better than cash but, don't bank on it.

Who are the Rosarito Footprinters and what do they do?

A lot of the minor players took advantage of the security situation during the past year and now they have either been arrested, killed, entered rehab or just ran away.

Less violence is more a perception than a reality. There have been 8 murders in TJ in the past 12 hours. 6 were in your neighborhood of Playas. A Nissan was set fire last night. There were 4 crispy critters inside the car and another 2 in the trunk. There's pictures of them on AFN, but it is not for those with weak stomachs.

The total for yesterday ended up at 11 murders in 15 hours in Tijuana. Violence is NOT down in Mexico. If you just read the Mexican newspapers, it is obvious crime is spreading south from Tijuana down the peninsula. The papers are full of armed robberies in the Ensenada-San Quintin corridor yesterday.

Yeah......I didn't think it called for all that. Had to be one of our runaway trolls anyway.

By the way...Did you realize that Punta Banda was in Campo? I'm gonna have to get out and look around more often.

All of you have it wrong.

When the LA Times headlines say Violence Down in Mexico, they mean that is where the violence is located - down in Mexico - got it?

It means there is no violence "up in U.S." We just think that stuffing co-eds in walls, stealing children off the street and having sex with them for 18 years and stabbing 3 and 5 year olds has all become part of the great American fabric of life and no longer will be referred to as Violence.

Just like trillion dollar deficits are no longer going to be called bad in the future.

Orwell has finally come back.

Welcome and come in, aren't you glad you made it this far to enjoy it?
