Surfboards wanted

Hi,

I am looking for one or two beat up surfboards that we can keep in Baja and use them whenever we go down. Anything between 6'8" to 8' and in La Paz, Todos Santos, or Los Cabos area.

Please U2U with your info. . . thanks!

I wish you good luck. We have been collecting old surfboards for the local surf club in Bahia Asuncion---some need quite a bit of repair, but one of the members knows how to repair boards and we have made sure he has the material needed.

Here is the problem. We have found that many surfers would rather hang on their old boards and even make them into yard art rather than part with them. As a few have explained to us, each board has a special memory of some beach, some wave, or some trip, some special spot recorded on their GPS----so they just can't part with them.

So good luck finding surfers who will part with their old memories----We live in Imperial Beach, a major surfing town, but we have had much better luck through a contact in San Clemente who I think brow beats his friends to give them up!

Diane

Well, you can look for mine that blew off along the beach between Quatro Casas and Punta Colenet. Brand new.
