Baja's 2008 Artist of the Year, Master Juan Angel Castillo B. For those who do not know of his INCREDIBLE talents,Castillo is a self-taught Artist who
sold newspapers to pay for his education through a mail-order class. While he is best known for his meticulous depictions of the desert and sea,
Castillo is extremely versatile in abstrcts, sculpture, oil, acrylic, charcoal and colored pencils. While living in Palm Springs, one of his customers
was Frank Sinatra, when introduced to Sinatra, Sinatra responded, "I know who you are" and personally purchased 3 of Castillo's works. Some other
clients of Castillo include, Red Skelton, Raul Ramirez, Russell Crowe, Ringo Starr and Leonard Nimoy.

yes, i have seen his work and it is so amazing...the colors, the magnificence! and upon meeting him, i found him to be so humble and the epitomy of
graciousness. one day i will buy one of his paintings. where can the his art be seen...is his work in a gallery?

If you ever get a chance to obtain a copy of his book, Baja California written in both Spanish & English, it is well worth the investment..
