Back from the brink update.......Mind games
Well its been a month now and I,m still alive
things are looking better every day eating better put the walker in the garage and an up to two or three blocks twice a day.
One thing thats still haunting me was the conspiracy at the hospital and I was the target for some strange reason, could not be money I have
none,I finally figured it out I was in pocession of some very important information that they wanted and were willing to do anything to get.
I will refer to them as THEY,They did some of the following, change my clock so I would lose track of the time of day,I stopped smoking 8
monthe ago but I wanted one so bad and THEY knew it so THEY started smoking and smiling in the room right across from me just to torment me.
Then there were the dogs THEY brought in one nite to do I know not what,I told my wife about the dogs and smoking she in turn asked THEM what
in the hell is going on and to stop giving me whatever it is that messing my mind up.
Then there was the window to the outside world that really wasn,t a window but a one way way mirrior that THEY set behind all day and watched
me,got so mad at THEM one nite I flipped THEM a double bird
Hardly ever saw my wife,I don,t think THEY were letting her in,on the last day I made up my mind make a run for it,could not stay here any
longer.
The potent drugs that are to be had is very scary, and what works for you might not work for me if I learned one thing from all this is
"listen to your body, nobody knows it as well as you,it might be trying to tell you something, listen.
Just thought would share this, feeling just fine
Rob

Sounds like you're doing well, Rob. That makes me happy enough to drink a box of beer in your heathy honor, Mañana.
Hang in here, bud. Glad it's going well for you.

Good to see you're back and posting
Post-bypass surgery hallucinations/delusions aren't that uncommon. They’re typically so vivid and generally unpleasant that they can be recalled in
detail long afterward and it’s difficult for the sufferer to believe that it didn’t actually happen. My dad suffered several delusional episodes
during his recovery. He was sure he was in a boarding house and the nurse was the owner and his doctor was her husband.
No real agreement as to the cause. Som think it’s medication related. If you’re taking something like Lopressor (Metoprolol), that might be the
factor. Another interesting idea is that it might be related to the use of the heart/lung machine. As blood is run through it, microclots may form and
inhibit brain function until your body sorts things out.
Good to hear you’re doing more walking and have ditched the walker.
Reminds me of the old Henny Youngman Joke:
A doctor says to a man, "You want to improve your love life? You need to get some exercise. Run ten miles a day." Two weeks later, the man called the
doctor. The doctor says, "How is your love life since you have been running?" "I don't know, I'm 140 miles away!"

At this point, you've probably got 50 more years! The problem is to figure out what to do with them.
