"You Can Keep an Eye on Your Car"
"While parked."
Yes, a very big plus, it is such an automatic precaution with us, I forgot to mention it.
Thanks Woosh!

Driving in the dark in Rosarito is ten times safer than driving anywhere after dark in L.A..

Road Report
Driving south of Popotla to Primo Tapia on the "libre" is easy and without road hazards.
Driving south below Popotla to Primo Tapia on the "cuota" is not as nice.

Note to self; Don't go to Rosarito for the nightlife.
Do they really roll up the carpets at dusk? I was planning to spend a night there soon but maybe not after reading this.

There is Plenty of Nightlife in Rosarito
If that is what you want, for more information, just search the net using key words.
BTW, the exotic dancers,(cough, hookers) are licensed and regulated and must show up the the medical clinic near El Nido Restaurant for regular tests
for HIV and. probably, at other locations, I just cannot say anything about that.

Yes, Jan, but are there Mariachis with them?
Some may remember the joke that was circulating in the sixties:
Service man in a foreign country was interested getting some action from a local street walker. During the negotiation, because of her accent, he
couldn't tell if she said she had VD or had TB. The other guys suggested if he chased her around the room and she coughed, she was safe.

Well, thank Gawd for that. Practitioners of their trade haven't always been known for their high fibre diet.

Never been to Rosarito (for this anyway) but if it's like TJ you can check, they carry a card. Of course if you don't have the scanner to
read it...
The advantage to staying in the major clubs with reputations to worry about ( Adelita Bar, Hong Kong, etc ) is that they are self policing, they won't
let a girl work if her card isn't current. They are tested every three weeks for a full panel of STD's and TB. IMHO it's lot safer than picking up
some drunk chick in a dive bar
