Anybody know if XM Radio works south of the border? If so how far south?

There's been lot's of posts about XM below the border...do a search on 'XM'...
Yes, it works all the way to Cabo...use it myself!
According to my clock...anytime is \'BAJA TIME\' & as Jimmy Buffett says,
\"It doesn\'t use numbers or moving hands It always just says now...\"

XM Radio
XM works great all the way to La Paz......I'm sure it works all the way to Cabo, just haven't driven any farther south. It's the same land or
water.....doesn't matter. I have friends who use Sirius Radio in Baja it seems to work just the same. It's great.....get it. CJ

My friend Pam Bolles here in Loreto just hooked up her XM system, works great and was really simple to set up. The only problem I see, is that I
dont have one too.

XM worked for us all the way to La Paz and then got sketchy between there and todos Santos. Service around Los Cabos was off and on as we drove the
corrodor highway. I don't know if it is an antenna placement issue or what. Any others with this experience? We loved it on the long drive. Very
highly recommended.
No b-tchin\' in the Baja.

XM on the water
I've got it on my boat. Awesome sound quality, matching that of a CD.
It works in San Carlos on the mainland, in the middle of the sea of cortez, and down to Loreto (furthest I've gone with the boat).
You can listen to the weather channel for regular updates once an hour about toprical storms, etc.

Try this.
Try XMFan.com for help. XM radio cannot admit its signal is available outside of the US, but it is. The aforementioned website has general and
technical answers to your questions. You can have the unit installed at Circuit City, Best Buy, etc. Or...you can do it yourself. Plug in the cig
lighter, snap in the casette, put little mag antenna on dash, and it works! You can also just get a FM modulator/cig lighter plug and just tune the
FM radio to a given frequency and it is done. Yes, it works in La Paz, out at sea, and is great!! Try www.XMFan.com for further info.
