Tribute to the king, from the Mission concert 12/20/09

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1vKHMBmeh8

Elvis may sound like he has a German accent on this video, but that is just how the Jesuit architects of the 300 year old mission designed the acoustics.

For goodness sakes you guys.
How 'bout this - anyone injecting any political comment of any kind on any thread until 1/5/10 owes The Toy Drive $10.
Pay up or shut up.

what happens after 1-5-2010??
and why was this thread initiated anyway? when is Elvis relavent as general discussion for baja??

if the answer is buried in the video mea culpa as i didn't watch it. i think Elvis sucks.
except for viva Las Vegas..... that one is good when they speed it up to Alvin and chipmonks beat.:light::biggrin:
also heard a yiddish flavored rendition that was off the hook phunnie. you could just picture this orthodox guy with the long black pigtail sideburn thingies and beard singing and wearing a liesure suit.
fricking hilarious - those guys an SD FM radio played it all the time. KGB.

Santiago Clause - no offense amigo. Merry New Year!!

Geez. Given the choice for a vacation, would you choose Crawford Tx, or The Big Island?:?:

1. If figure if the toy drive goes off on the 10th, the 5th is about the last day to get stuff there so Ferna can Plan. Maybe not.
2. The thread was initiated as during the holidays there is a general feeling of wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. You know, kinda like a Christmas card. There is a relaxing of the rules it seems to allow for this. I suspect that on the BBP board someone has said "Merry Christmas" without any particular reference to flying in baja. No problem there in my view.
3. I know you meant no offense, in fact, I'm sure no one did. I'm hyper sensitive as I've lost two good friends over the recent ratcheting up of political intolerance. It started just in this way.

sorry to hear that Santiago.
i keep politics far away as possible from my true friendships. Why just last week i peeed off my Lawyer with an anti Obama joke he took it way too seriously since he is a supporter iof Obama.

so i have learned.

don't take life or this forum too seriously Santiago. And i am a cut up at heart by the way. just a harmless spoofer.
have a great sunday.

Understand why, but really sorry you took it down---it was a nice holiday card, and a nice sentiment.
