I've never used one, but heard some good things.

For anyone who needs to siphon gas ( i.e. anyone traveling to Baja  ).

I highly recommend these

I was given one as a present a few years back and it is one of my most used tools.
I then discovered them for sale in my neighborhood market and have been giving them as gifts.
They were even taken into consideration for my gas can racks.
The only drawback is explaining to the locals that you don't need to suck on them to make them work. Force of habit:lol:

Yep

easily. You probably wouldn't have to cut off much if any. They roll up small and flat.
Real handy for boats as well.
When someone is out of gas, as long as I can pull up next to them, it's a breeze!
Brilliant yet simple. Wish it would have been my idea !!!!

What George did not tell you

Yes, he has used them for years now. Not for his boat, but for his cars and motorcycles. In the old days we were able to stick hoses down our neighbors tanks and steal their gas.
New York was so desperate that George would siphon gas into the fire trucks for the city---using the Oklahoma Credit Card. How ya doing George? I got your message on the other posting. Russ

Well....I just bought me one...Thanks!

The gas cans I have are WWll vintage from that huge surplus store in North Park. The spout doesn't fit well and I end up spilling a good portion on my feet.

Besides..the danged things are heavy! This will be much better...Thanks again!

Wadda ya tink Sharkey...I waz a por street kid......bike don't use much gas...
it was like charity...

As a F/F of NYC, we never took gas fromour beloved BROTHER citizens...we used to occasionally trade batteries back and forth......I felt like Robin Hood in Reverse...take from the poor to give to the "not so poor".

Tough finding cars today without lock-on gas caps.....gotta go look now, a lot of the old folks are napping.....mustn't miss a golden (no pun intended) opportunity.

Skeet, keep away from my gas tanks!

I knew someone would ask me that so I already looked it up:

Bargain Center
3015 North Park Way.
San Diego
(619) 295-1181

That parallels University Ave. one block south and a few blocks west of I-805 in the community of North Park.

I love the place...knock yourself out!
