I respectfully suggest that you look into the whereabouts of the beloved (by some), long lost poster RandyMac, the crazy Canadian who was
alternatively provocative, compelling, artistic and, "Hello, train wreck coming."
According to Baja Nomad archives, his last post was in 2006.

I don't remember RandyMac conducting any Nomad bashing, but that could be selective memory.
His posts were alternately hilarious, touching and then scary.
Maybe he was bipolar and not taking his meds; maybe he was hallucinating due to other influences, but he was interesting.
I just remember the picture he posted when a major storm was about to hit his area of Canada; his blizzard survival rations were a stack of beer
cases that went up to the ceiling of his place.
