Paella Festival is on

Today at the El Cortez. Several restaurants will compete for the awards. Getting hungry thinking about it. Let the good times roll.

We have a booth set up there for the Food Bank and A Childs Garden to sponsor the kids. Stop by and say hi. Its always good to meet fellow Nomads in person.

It was great Geoff. Good turn out. Lots of food. They had the free tequila samples flowing and I noticed thats where the longest lines were.

We actually took in pledges of over $8,000 for the year to sponsor some of the kids. That was great.

Traditional mariachis were good as well as some of the young dance troupes.

Food was great.

It was the best ever. El Cortez set up the tables on the beach and we didn't feel crowded as in the past.
