Is that the storm water ditch that runs through TJ? What are they gonna do, install locks or something? Bet they just paint the cement blue.

The blue color in the artist's rendition of the Tijuana river. It's usually a dry riverbed.

The Zocalo is located across the river from the Tijuana cultural center and the Plaza Rio shopping center. Where the town hall is. You pass it if you take the Via Rapida to the Sentri lanes.

I think it is part of a riverside park. Not enough water for boat docks.

It's that whole blue area in the middle they will have to paint to make blue. Wonder what that picture would look like with the gray cement drainage channel in it. Is this the TJ version of spanning the Danube or something?

They covered over part of the 805 and 15 highway in San Diego with parks and athletic fields that came out great. I don't get the aesthetic draw of the channel here- unless it is filled with water and boats.

All blue-colored graffiti will be welcome... especially artsy ones with whales and dolphins.

Anything to make Tijuana look better and have the people feel better about living there is good news.
