Yeah - I saw that on the RMS - dude stood firing for 2 hours in an open field while getting hit with shrapnel. First medal of honor in WWII if I remember correctly. Like Rachael said, we have a 3 day weekend coming up for a reason.

the 3 day weekend for some is just a b-b-q and vacation. to bad people don't remember the ones who gave them the freedom to do that. go and help put flag on the graves of the brave ones. go to the V.A. and take a care package.
I never b-b-q this weekend. I do give thanks. My dad was one of those brave guys and my son is a vet from Iraqi war.
God Bless our Troops

Hola, yes, the true heroes that gave their lives for us didn't come back ! BUT, we must also give homage to those that did go and did return albeit in another body or mind AND THEIR FAMILIES. let us all make sure our government doesn't just cast them aside AGAIN and also seek out our other PAST vets that need our help, FOREVER.

please pardon the caps, it is for emphasis ! exclamation marks, as well.

YES, I'LL SHOUT IT OUT !!

GOD BLESS AMERICA AND THOSE THAT FOUGHT TO GIVE US THE FREEDOMS WE ENJOY TODAY !

BIEN SALUD..DA RAT

As it turned out, Nixon and his henchman lied to all of us but as a believer, I went and fought. (In retrospect I feel that I was wrong and should have stood up to those lying bastards) I did come back on a stretcher but with sound mind. (A little Don Julio helps)

I definitely will BBQ this weekend and hoist up a few (OK, maybe more than a few) for those brave souls that did not come back, as we all celebrate and grieve in different ways.
Long live the U S of A. Fu-k all the lying politicians that probably started with good intentions but got caught up in their on BS to actually do any good. Years and decades have passed and I am not as bitter as it sounds, just very, very disappointed in the system. It could be soooo much better. We have the foundation for beyond greatness but they almost all trip over their own tongues.

Love and peace out,
